NOTE:
Last updated: July 29th 2020
1.) Updates will be posted to my TRELLO. Clients will receive personal notices if any slowdowns are 3 weeks+ or unknown amount of time, this update will also be posted to my Trello. I use Trello as a centralized location for ALL updates, including: commission progress, slowdowns, unexpected days off, etc. I will NOT be posting commission openings there however.
2.) I open my slots via Journals on FA and sometimes DeviantArt/Twitter as well. I used to open on a relative schedule, but that has proven not to work for me. So unfortunately, though it doesn't work for everyone, my openings will be random. I am looking for a different method that is more consumer friendly eventually, but this is how it will be for now.
When open, the "Commission Info" drop down above will display Price Page > Slots [OPEN].
-I accept applications until the slots are filled. It's 50/50 first come first serve and inspiration based
-Additionally, you are more than welcome to list several characters and bullet point ideas for us to discuss!
3.) I then contact everyone who sent a form in, to let each person know whether or not they were accepted. If you AREN'T accepted, that is NOT because I dislike your character or idea, it's really just the luck of the draw on what I'm interested in at the time. If you were NOT accepted, please wait 2 weeks before filling one out again, but please do try again!
4.) Upon acceptance, I will also ask for any additional information that may be needed. Once I have all the necessary information I will send a price breakdown that will separate all the costs so it's clear what you are being charged for. Then I will send an Invoice to the provided Paypal address.
I typically accept payment upfront OR at the sketch stage, if you would prefer the latter please let me know, otherwise I will assume it's the former.
5.) A card will be added to my Trello (see Queue tab above) with your username (Let me know if you'd prefer to stay anonymous), clicking on the card will provide more information of where I am at in the process. You will also be sent a sketch and a lineart with flatcolors for approval via email. More WIPs than that are either a courtesy and don't require approval (IE: I will continue work on the piece, rather than wait for your response), extra WIP's may incur an additional cost, please check my TOS for more information.
-The sketch stage is when you should request position, pose, item locations, scene or composition changes. The lines with flatcolors is when you should request marking adjustments, missing features, colors, etc. (These are just an example, and by no means an absolute rule).
6.) Upon completion I will email you a small upload version, and a large personal use file. What you can do with Personal use files is anything that only you, yourself would use it for-with the exception of posting publicly. If you wish to color or edit any of my images either ask, or keep it private. You may not commission another artist to color/paint over any of my art without my permission.
7.) And that's it! Enjoy!
-If you have any additional questions about my process feel free to contact me!
